HerMap Verified review is currently offered at no cost and does not require account registration; if HerMap introduces account registration or fees for HerMap Verified review in the future, those will be governed by our Terms of Service. To review information about listed businesses or other information on the Site or through the Services, you may do so anonymously.
HerMap does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 18 years of age. All registered users of the Site or the Services must be over the age of 18.

HerMap sometimes collects your email address, for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, authenticating your accounts, sending information about your listing or HerMap Verified status, and sending information about other services offered by HerMap. By giving your email to HerMap, you consent to emails from HerMap.
HerMap sometimes collects your phone number for account authentication purposes and may send it to a third-party service for verification.
HerMap may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to use the information only for the services they perform for HerMap.
Payments made through the Site or the Services may be processed by third-party payment processors. HerMap does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.
HerMap may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments or if you contact HerMap directly. Information that you voluntarily publish on publicly accessible areas of the Site or the Services may be visible to other users. Please do not post anything on Site and/or Services that you would like to keep private.
HerMap's web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help HerMap diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Site and/or Services, and to otherwise provide HerMap's service to you. In addition, HerMap may collect other information from your interaction with our Site and/or Services, content, and advertising, including computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the Site and/or Services, advertising data, IP address, demographic and navigational data, and standard web log information. HerMap may obtain this information from a third-party provider.
HerMap uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include encryption, secure hosting environments, and restricted access to personal information. However, you agree and acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and HerMap cannot guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not required for a HerMap Verified request or use of the Services.

HerMap may store all information posted to this Site and/or Services, including account information, in HerMap's database, even after "deletion" if it is in backups that are stored for longer than the period for which information is being deleted (i.e. if HerMap keeps backups of its files, your information may remain in the backups kept). In addition, HerMap may archive this information elsewhere as well.
HerMap stores its web logs and other records that contain personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. This may include information about the services you bought and your browsing history.
Although HerMap makes good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, HerMap cannot guarantee complete security.
HerMap may store information in an off-site location, which may or may not be in the United States and may not be bound by the laws of the United States.
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with HerMap - including Google.com, Bing.com and Yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available HerMap's webpages. HerMap has no control over third-party archiving and search engine sites and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information stored by search engine sites.
HerMap may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.

HerMap may disclose your information on the Site or the Services if your business has a listing on HerMap. The information disclosed publicly may include your business name, address, contact information, listing status, the date HerMap Verified status was granted, the specific features verified, and photos of your business.
HerMap may disclose your information to service providers who assist in operating the Site and Services, including website hosting providers, payment processors, email marketing providers, analytics providers, and security providers.
If HerMap meets the requirements of being a controller of personal data, then personal data is only used by HerMap for use with HerMap's business. You have the right to opt out of future sales, targeted advertising, and profiling based on the data that HerMap has collected by notifying HerMap in writing of your intent to opt-out. If for any reason your request to be removed is denied, you will receive notification from HerMap and information about appealing this decision.
