Throughout the Site, the terms "HerMap", "we", "us" and "our" refer to HerMap. By accessing or using the Site, including all information, tools and services available from this Site to you, the user, you agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here. If you are using the Site on behalf of an entity, you agree and acknowledge that you are authorized to bind the entity to the terms stated herein.
By visiting our Site and/or purchasing any services through the Site — which include the HerMap business directory, the optional HerMap Verified review process, and any related products and/or services offered by HerMap (the "Services") — from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Site, including visitors, businesses requesting HerMap Verified review, listed businesses, and purchasers of Services.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our Site. By accessing or using any part of the Site, making any purchases from the Site, or becoming a listed business through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of these Terms of Service, then you may not access the Site, purchase any Services from us, or use any services. Please note, for all users of the Site – HerMap provides business directory and verification-review services for informational purposes only and does not endorse or guarantee any listed business.
Any new features or tools which are added to the Site shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our Site. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

The Site may be accessed by individuals of any age, but creation of an account, purchase of Services, or a request for HerMap Verified review requires you to be at least 18. To purchase any Services from the Site, you must be 18 years of age or older. You acknowledge and agree that HerMap, in its sole discretion and without notice or any further obligation to you, may temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue and refuse any and all current and future access to or use of the Site.
You may not use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Services, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
You acknowledge and agree that any listing status or HerMap Verified designation on the Site reflects a business's status only at the time of review. HerMap does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or ongoing compliance of any listed business.
HerMap does not endorse, recommend, or warrant any business listed on the Site. HerMap is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any interactions, transactions, or relationships between you and any listed business.
Any decision to engage with a listed business is made at your own risk. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any business relationship or purchasing any products or services.
HerMap displays local businesses under one of three listing statuses:

HerMap Verified status is granted at HerMap's sole discretion and may be revoked at any time. HerMap Verified status does not create any ongoing obligation by HerMap and does not constitute a representation or warranty regarding any business.
Business Confirmed status is based solely on information provided by the business and is not independently verified by HerMap. Such status should not be relied upon as a representation or guarantee of any kind.
HerMap Verified status requires HerMap to independently confirm specific information submitted by or about the business. Verification is performed in several ways including:
Verification is limited in scope and is based on information available at the time of assessment. Verification does not constitute a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or ongoing compliance, and should not be relied upon as a representation or warranty by HerMap. HerMap Verified status applies only to the specific features that were checked and does not evaluate a business on any measures beyond those specific features.
All businesses are required to provide accurate and complete information. Providing false or misleading information may result in:
If a business is removed due to providing false or inaccurate information, there will be no refund of any fees paid to HerMap. HerMap may, in its sole discretion, disclose that a business has been removed and may provide a general description of the reason for such removal.
HerMap Verified status reflects the status of a business at the time of assessment. HerMap Verified status does not guarantee ongoing compliance.
HerMap Verified status is valid for one (1) year from the date it is granted. Renewal requires a new review and payment of any applicable fees.
A basic public listing is free. Selected Founding businesses may receive a complimentary first year of HerMap Verified review during the current pilot. Renewal of HerMap Verified status after the complimentary period is currently planned at $299/year, based on the current single-location MVP scope; this is an initial planned price, not a final one, and is subject to change. Any paid renewal will be confirmed to you in writing before charges apply. Current pricing, once finalized, will be published on our website. Once a fee is charged, it is non-refundable, including in cases of denial, revocation, or removal from the Site.
We reserve the right to refuse Services to anyone for any reason at any time, including the sale of any products, the right to be listed on HerMap, the ability to claim or maintain HerMap Verified status, or the continued use of the Site or Services. We may, in our sole discretion, remove any listing, revoke HerMap Verified status, or terminate or restrict access to the Site at any time.
You understand that your content may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. While we use reasonable measures to protect payment and financial information, we do not guarantee that transmissions will always be secure.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services or any content on the Site through which the Services is provided, without express written permission by us.
We reserve the right to modify, remove, or limit the visibility of any content or listing on the Site at any time in our sole discretion. We do not guarantee that any business will be displayed, ranked, or promoted in any particular manner.
You agree that the headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
We are not responsible if information made available on this Site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this Site, including any business listings, verification-status information, or other third-party content, is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon in making decisions of any kind.
We do not independently verify all information presented on the Site and make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information, including information provided by third parties or listed businesses. Any reliance on the material on this Site is at your own risk.
This Site may contain certain historical information. Historical information is not current and is provided for reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this Site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to the Site.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sale of any Services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any Services that we offer. All descriptions of Services or pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. Prices for our Services are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services, including the HerMap Verified review process, business listings, or platform features, at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that any portion of the Services will be available at all times or that any specific feature, listing status, or listing will continue to be offered.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of any Services, nor for any resulting loss of access, listing status, or listing visibility. Except as expressly stated elsewhere in these Terms, no refunds or credits will be provided in connection with any such changes.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for any account or application you submit, and to promptly update it — including your email address — so that we can reach you as needed. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any application or request submitted to us, including if we believe it was not submitted by the true business owner or applicant.
If HerMap introduces paid features in the future (see Section 2.4), this section will also apply to billing and payment information at that time.
We may provide you with access to third-party tools, services, or integrations over which we neither monitor nor have any control over or input into. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such third-party tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement.
We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of any third-party tools, services, or integrations, including any actions, omissions, or data practices of such third parties. Any use by you of such tools is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
You understand that your use of third-party tools may be subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by the applicable third-party provider, and it is your responsibility to review and agree to those terms before use.
We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Site (including the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms of Service.
Certain content, products, and services available through the Site may include materials from third parties, including business listings and information on the HerMap platform. These third parties are independent and are not affiliated with or controlled by HerMap.
HerMap does not endorse, recommend, or warrant any third-party businesses, websites, or services. HerMap is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party and assumes no liability or responsibility for any third-party materials, websites, products, or services.
HerMap is not a party to any transaction between you and any third party, including any business listed on the Site. Any interactions, transactions, or agreements you enter into with third parties are solely between you and that third party.
We are not liable for any harm, damages, or losses related to your use of or reliance on any third-party content, website, or services, including any transactions made in connection with such third parties.
You understand that third-party websites and services may have their own terms, policies, and data practices, and HerMap is not responsible for how such third parties collect, use, or disclose your information. You should review their terms and policies before engaging in any transaction.
Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products or services should be directed to the applicable third party.
By submitting material to us ("User Communications"), including, but not limited to, information, suggestions, ideas, concepts, know-how, techniques, questions, comments, business information, listing content, or other communications, whether submitted through the Site, in connection with a HerMap Verified request, or by private transmission (e.g., email, social media, or otherwise), you represent and warrant that such content is original to you, that you own all applicable legal rights in such content, and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
By submitting any User Communication, you grant HerMap a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and incorporate such material (in whole or in part) in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, including for use in business listings, verification-status displays, and marketing materials.
You agree that HerMap may use any User Communication for any purpose in its sole discretion, including commercial and non-commercial purposes, without obligation to maintain confidentiality, provide compensation, or respond to such submissions.
HerMap may, but has no obligation to, monitor, edit, modify, or remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or in violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to modify or remove any business listing or submitted content at any time.
You acknowledge that HerMap does not verify all User Communications and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any user-submitted content. Any reliance on such content is at your own risk.
You agree that your submissions will not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and will not contain unlawful, defamatory, or malicious material. You are solely responsible for any content you submit and its accuracy. HerMap assumes no liability for any User Communications submitted by you or any third party.
We care about your privacy. Our Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site, and its terms are incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
You acknowledge that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and that communications over the Internet may be subject to interruption, interception, or unauthorized access. While we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of any information transmitted to or from the Site.
You understand that any information you transmit to the Site may be accessed or intercepted by third parties, including through circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your use of the Services, revoke HerMap Verified status, remove any content or listing, and take any other action we deem appropriate in response to violations of these prohibited uses.
All Services provided by HerMap, including the Site, the HerMap Verified review process, listings, and related services, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with all faults.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HERMAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. HERMAP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION, RESULTS, OR OUTCOMES OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HERMAP AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR SERVICES.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HerMap's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Site or Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to HerMap in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) $5,000.
If you have not paid HerMap any amounts, you agree that your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Site, and you shall not be entitled to damages, except as otherwise required by law.
You acknowledge that HerMap is not responsible for the conduct, content, or actions of any third party, including businesses listed on the Site, and that any interactions with such third parties are at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HerMap and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees from and against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:
HerMap reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree to cooperate with such defense.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. If necessary, the provision shall be modified or limited so as to be enforceable, and if it cannot be so modified, it shall be deemed severed from these Terms. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing use of the Site and Services.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site or Services at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, we may remove or restrict access to any content, listings, or HerMap Verified status associated with your account.
You remain responsible for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.
Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, provisions relating to intellectual property, user content, disclaimers of warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
Termination shall not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to the termination date.
The failure of HerMap to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision, nor shall it prevent HerMap from enforcing such right or provision at a later time.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies or operating rules posted on the Site or incorporated by reference (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and HerMap and govern your use of the Services, superseding all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written.
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.
These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objections based on lack of personal jurisdiction, improper venue, or forum non conveniens.

HerMap respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that any content on the Site infringes your copyright, please submit a notice to contact@hermap.info with sufficient detail to identify the allegedly infringing material. HerMap reserves the right to remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
Verified businesses are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to display the HerMap Verified badge solely during the valid verification period and in accordance with HerMap's guidelines.
Badge use must accurately reflect current listing status and may not be used in a misleading manner or imply endorsement beyond the scope of the specific features verified. HerMap reserves the right to revoke this license at any time, including upon expiration or revocation of HerMap Verified status.
